Shanghai Sport National University Science and Technology Park (SSNUSTP) was officially established in November 2009 in Shanghai Institute of Physical Education (SSPE), and in January 2013, it was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education as a "National University Science and Technology Park". It is the only national university science and technology park in the field of sports in China, and also the first "Sports Science and Technology Demonstration Park" named by the State General Administration of Sports. It is becoming a base for independent innovation and R&D of sports science and technology enterprises, a base for the transformation and incubation of sports science and technology achievements, a base for the concentration of sports speciality industries, and a base for the cultivation of sports innovation and entrepreneurship talents
